Our Mission
« home

The Student Exhibition Center provides opportunities for cultural enrichment by supporting a program of public exhibits and events.

The primary mission of the Center is to serve the educational needs of students at Missouri State University in their roles as exhibitors and patrons of the Center. The Student Exhibition Center seeks to provide a broad and diverse program of events as well as a professional exhibition experience. The Center provides students with an opportunity to interact with the public through their exhibited work, there-by facilitating public awareness and discussion of current topics of interest.

The Student Exhibition Center supports a vital center city and serves as a member of the Springfield area arts community. Located in a turn-of-the-century Victorian house in the Historic Walnut Street District, the Center is dedicated to the preservation of this historical landmark for the benefit of students and the Springfield Community.
